How accurate is MailGuard?+

We average 99.2% accuracy across our customer base, measured against post-send bounce data. Catch-all and unknown statuses are reported transparently so you can decide how to handle them.

What checks do you run on each email?+

Syntax (RFC 5322), MX record lookup, SMTP probe, role address detection (info@, support@…), disposable provider detection, free-provider classification, catch-all detection, blacklist screening, and mailbox-full inference.

Will verification damage my sender reputation?+

No. We use passive SMTP techniques that do not generate bounces or visible traffic in your domain's reputation metrics.

Do credits expire?+

Never. Buy once and use whenever — even years later.

How is pricing structured?+

Pay-as-you-go credits, starting from $0.0008 per email at higher volumes. No subscriptions, no per-seat fees. See the pricing page for tiers.

Do you offer refunds?+

Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase. Used credits are non-refundable.

What file formats does bulk verification accept?+

CSV and TXT. We auto-detect the column containing email addresses. Headers are optional.

Is there a file size limit?+

Single uploads can contain up to 1,000,000 rows. For larger jobs, contact support — we can stage uploads in batches.

How is my data handled?+

We are GDPR-compliant. Your uploaded lists are processed in-memory and stored encrypted at rest only as long as needed to deliver results. We never sell, share, or aggregate your data.

Where are your servers located?+

Verification runs on edge infrastructure in 12 regions globally. Customer data is stored in our primary EU region with optional US residency on request.

Do you have an API?+

Yes. The REST API responds in under 2 seconds and is intended for real-time signup verification. Documentation is on the docs page.

What happens with catch-all addresses?+

Catch-all servers accept any address, so a definitive verdict is impossible. We flag them as 'risky' so you can choose to include, exclude, or send a confirmation email.

Can I integrate with my CRM or ESP?+

Yes — via the API. Native integrations for Mailchimp, HubSpot, and Klaviyo are on the roadmap.

Do you support team accounts?+

Single-user accounts today. Multi-seat workspaces are in private beta — contact support to join.

How long does bulk verification take?+

Roughly 1,000 emails per minute. A 100K list typically completes within 90–120 minutes.
